Studied composition in the class of Marek Stachowski at the Music Academy in Krakow, to go on to sharpen his skills in the undergraduate programme directed by Peter-Jan Wagemans at the Conservatory in Rotterdam (2001-2002). He has taken part in composition contests in Radziejowice (1997), Gdańsk (1998), Buckow near Berlin (1999), and Darmstadt (2008). He was awarded a scholarship by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (1999). In 2006 he received his Doctorate in the arts. He took second prize in the Polish Composition Competition for middle school students in Tarnów (1996), third prize and an honourable mention in the Sixth Adam Didur Composition Competition in Sanok (1997) and a distinction in the Tadeusz Baird Composition Competition. He has received commissions for compositions from the Warsaw Autumn Friends Society, German Radio, and the Polish Composer’s Union. His works have been performed at festivals including: Warsaw Autumn, Days of Krakow Composers' Music, the Musica Nova Polonia Festival, UltraSchall International Festival of New Music in Berlin, and the Musikhøst Fesival in Odense in Denmark. From 2006 to 2008 he was a member of the Repertoire Committee of the Warsaw Autumn International Contemporary Music Festival. He works as an adjunct at the Composition Cathedral at the Music Creation Interpretation, and Education at the Music Academy in Krakow.
