“When I was first asked to collaborate on a joint project with Mr Greenwood, I hesitated. I didn’t say yes right away”, recalls Krzysztof Penderecki, “But then he came to Krakow to meet me and turned out to be a really normal guy. He was well-dressed and well-spoken. I was in shock! I listened to his songs and thought they were good. And then my granddaughter explained to me what Radiohead was” – this is how Krzysztof Penderecki describes the beginnings of his collaboration with Jonny Greenwood in today’s issue of the weekly Wprost.
